The FoCW would welcome help from anyone with specialist knowledge. There are many genera that we are unable to record through lack of knowledge. Knowing what is occurring with the species helps in planning the habitat development works.
Recording progress has been made with fungi and Arthropods, especially Insecta. We are thankful to the Nottinghamshire Fungi Group and to the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Entomology Society for their generous help in firming up these record areas.
Individuals from Notts. Wildlife Trust have assisted with other species groups.
