You’ll find us between Eastwood and Moorgreen, just off the B600 on Engine Lane. It’s an easy hop from Junctions 26 and 27 of the M1 and there’s a free visitors car park on site.



How to find us

🕘 Opening Times

Open every day from dawn to dusk and is free to enter. Dogs are welcome but please keep them on leads during the nesting season (March-July) to protect ground-nesting birds.

🌳 What to see

Around 35 acres of meadows, woodland and grassland to wander, with trails throughout and a large pond. In summer the grassland fills with orchids, butterflies and hunting kestrels.

Volunteer Task Days

Join our work parties to help with everything from clearing scrub and trimming trees to planting and conservation. We usually meet on Wednesday and Saturday mornings, depending on the season and the weather.

Fun Dog Show

Community Events

We run events in Colliers Wood, including our annual Fun Dog Show and Christmas events, as well as others nearby such as the Greasley Gathering. We also offer pond-dipping sessions for groups.

Promoting

We promote and champion the reserve with Broxtowe Borough Council, who own and manage the site. Through regular meetings and social media presence, we keep residents and visitors up to date on what’s happening.
