Getting Here
Finding Colliers Wood
Colliers Wood sits on the edge of Eastwood, between Moorgreen and Greasley, with the entrance and car park off the B600 on Engine Lane. However you’re travelling, it’s easy to reach.
Reuben Shaw’s Garden Centre is just a short distance from Colliers Wood. Their Coffee House is highly recommended and is open most days
By car
The B600 runs through Moorgreen with easy access from M1 junctions 26 and 27. The car park is off Engine Lane and the postcode is NG16 3QU. You’ll find accessible bays and bicycle racks on site. There’s a height barrier on the Greenhills Road approach, so minibuses should come in via Moorgreen.
By foot or bike
From Eastwood town centre, follow the A608 Mansfield Road downhill to Durban House. Turn right onto Greenhills Road and keep going as it leads into Engine Lane and the west entrance. Bicycle racks sit beside the car park. There are also pedestrian entrances from Moorgreen and footpaths 3 and 67.
By public transport
Notts CC Fleet Services 528 and 532 stop nearby. The closest tram stop is Phoenix Park at the end of the Nottingham line. From there you can pick up a bus heading towards the reserve. Alternatively, Rainbow One bus from Nottingham stops in Eastwood which is approx 30 mins walk.
